Levo without an agent
An agent is the best way to use Levo, but not a requirement. Without one, Levo works from its own rules.
What still works
- Watching disk, memory, CPU and GPU, with alerts when a limit is crossed.
- The live index of what fills your disk.
- A list of what can go, from Levo's built-in knowledge of caches, build files, simulators, package managers, old installers and more.
- Cleaning what you tick, with the same safety checks as always.
- Uninstalling apps, quitting apps and the keyboard commands in ⌘K.
What an agent adds
Levo's own rules cover the common tools. An agent looks at your actual disk and judges each item: what it is, whether it comes back on its own, and how long it should sit idle first. That's how Levo finds junk it was never taught about, and tells a stale folder from one you're still using. Items the agent hasn't judged yet fall back to Levo's rules.
What you'll see
In the popover, the Ready to free area says No agent chosen with a button to Choose an agent. Notifications and the list still arrive. Process verdicts, such as "Gradle daemon idle 3 h", come from the agent, so without one you see the busiest processes but no advice on which to quit.
Add one later
Install an agent, sign in, and pick it in Settings › Agent. See Connect your AI agent.
