Levo help · Using Levo
Keyboard shortcuts
Levo's popover is built for the keyboard. These work while it's open.
Move and tick
| ↑ ↓ | Move the selection, including through an open group's items |
|---|---|
| → ← | Open and close the selected group, or an item's parts. ← on an item closes its group. |
| Space | Tick or untick the selected group, item or part |
| ⇧↑ ⇧↓ | Tick the range from the last tick to the new row |
| ⇧Space | Tick the range, as a Shift-click does |
| ↵ | Run the action shown with ↵ on the bar: quit the selected process, free memory or open Auto mode. On a group, open or close it. |
| Esc | Close the panel, or cancel a confirm, or close the popover |
Actions
| ⌘K | Open or close the action panel |
|---|---|
| ⌘⌫ | Clean up, or Unlock before your licence. In a confirm step, confirms the clean or uninstall. |
| ⌘R | Analyse now |
| ⌘P | Pause alerts for 1 hour, or resume them |
| ⌘D | Always keep the selected group or process |
| ⌘↵ | Show the selected group in Finder, or open the process in Activity Monitor |
| ⌥⌘Q | Force quit the selected process |
| ⌘, | Open Settings |
| ⌘Q | Quit Levo |
In a confirm step
↑ ↓ move through its rows, Space ticks the selected one, ⌘⌫ cleans up or uninstalls, and Esc cancels. The first time, ↵ accepts the "You're in charge" step. An uninstall's ↵ quits the app first if it's running.
Good to know
- Holding a key acts once: ↵ and ⌘⌫ ignore repeats, so a held key can't run a second step. Arrows still repeat.
- A shortcut that's greyed out beeps.
- Settings › General › Show shortcut hints turns the keycaps beside actions on or off.
