Levo help · Cleaning up
Protected folders
Levo never touches some places, whatever your settings, and you can add your own. Protected folders are also hidden from your agent.
Always protected
These stay off limits at every level, in Auto mode and for the agent:
- Photos, the Mail store, Messages and iCloud Drive.
- Keychains and passwords.
~/.sshand~/.gnupg..envfiles and other credential files./Systemand app bundles.- Lone
.gitfolders.
Settings › Protected shows the full list, read-only, under Always protected.
Add your own
- Open Settings › Protected.
- Under Protected folders, click + and choose a folder.
- Remove one later with its minus button.
Levo never indexes a protected folder, never shows it to your agent, and never suggests or cleans anything inside it. Use this for client work, an archive, a game library or anything you want out of Levo's sight.
Keep what changed recently
Keep what changed within sets a window, in hours, in which anything changed is always kept. It adds to the built-in five-minute settle time. Off by default.
Kept processes
Processes you chose to always keep are listed here too. Levo never offers to quit them. See Free memory, CPU and GPU.
One more way to keep something
Select a group in the popover and press ⌘D, or choose Always keep in ⌘K. That removes it from the list for good.
