Levo help · Using Levo
Notifications: what Levo tells you and when
Levo sends one notification each time a limit is crossed, and it arrives with the answer ready, because the agent has usually looked already.
The alerts
| Your Mac is almost full | Free disk space fell below your limit. The text says how much is left and how much is safe to clean: "12 GB left. 34 GB safe to clean." |
|---|---|
| Memory is running low | Memory pressure stayed at your chosen level for the time you set. |
| Your Mac is working hard | CPU stayed above your limit. It names the busiest process. |
| The GPU is busy | The same, for the graphics. |
If the level is crossed before the analysis is done, the alert goes out at once and updates in place when the answer lands. If the level drops first, nothing is sent.
The buttons
- Clean up: on a disk alert, cleans exactly the set its text names, then confirms what it freed.
- Quit (it names the process or app): on a memory, CPU or GPU alert, quits what Levo suggests.
- Analyse now: runs the agent again.
- Later: the alert comes back in an hour, quietly, if the level still holds.
- Ignore: nothing more until the level recovers and crosses again.
- Open Levo: opens the popover.
Clean up from a notification follows the same rules as the popover: your licence or free cleanups, the guard's checks right before acting, and anything now in use is skipped. After it runs, a notification says "Cleaned …" with the space now free, and an Undo button when what you cleaned went to the Trash.
Other notifications
- Auto mode freed 12 GB, after each automatic clean.
- Update available, with an Update button, and Updated to … afterwards.
- Buy Levo to clean up, when you've used both free cleanups.
Control them
- Each metric has its own Send a notification checkbox in Settings › Disk, Memory, CPU and GPU.
- Pause everything for an hour with ⌘P, or type "pause" in ⌘K. The same command resumes them.
- If nothing arrives at all, check Settings › Access and System Settings › Notifications.
